Its just giving me the generic p0300

If the CEL is flashing it should give more than that.

It isn't and I even tried 3 to four times. Before I replaced the vvt solenoid, camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor it gave me p0340 and p0300

which engine does it have? If it is the 4.2 have you done [spark plugs](/topics-spark-plug-chevy/) ?

if that is all you get , then I would check for vacuum leaks clean the throttle plates with throttle plate cleaner and change the spark plugs to see how it does.

4.2 straight 6 and yes changed spark plugsCleaned throttle body and changed oil

Do you have a scan-tool or a code reader?

This is what I got off a scanNo the light wasn't flashing before it was just on so ran a scan it said p0340 p0300 so I replaced the vvt cam and crank sensors

does this scan show a mis-fire count? mode 6 in the scan-tool

No doesn't show mis-fire count it shows all the screenshots I sent you

So if it started blinking after the plug change check the coils to see if they are connected correctly. after that you may have to drive it a few mins. with it blinking to get it to show the code, so you can check for that code.l

I will try that I have checked the coils too and I did drive it briefly and when it got to around 35mph to 40mph it didn't want to go any faster it seemed

the only other idea is to have it checked by a shop that has a scan-tool that can do all of the checks. and can find the problem.

I don't want to drive it to a shop and risk ruining the converterDo you know any mobile mechanics in L.A
